More Pumpkin Festivities

Well we just couldn't get enough of pumpkin patches so we went to another one...with cheaper pumpkins. :)  We went to Amazing Grace Pumpkin Patch last year (they even remembered us!) and needed another ride on a pirate ship so we indulged once again.

Cuties!  Ruby's wearing her cute BYU beanie my friend Kendra made her.

Ross made me ride the train with him...I look at this picture and can almost taste how ridiculous I look - good thing my son is adorable!

Totally happy!

Ruby and Steve were a great audience :)

Ross was a little nervous when he saw the pirate ship go by when we first got there.  The pirates were bellowing to everyone out of the ship - but when he got closer he saw that they were "not so bad" as he says. :)

The "not so bad" pirate :)

Ross trying to figure out what's going on.

His reaction to the "Yo ho" song.

The patch was pretty picked over since we went so late in the month, but we managed to scrape up a few good ones anyway.

Hey mom!

Also, Ruby has decided she is totally into climbing - any and everything.  We suddenly found her up three stairs (though she's totally not trustworthy to not fall down them as well).  Ross plays on the stairs all the time and she just thinks she belongs wherever he is.

She just thinks she can keep up with anybody.

Look at all those stairs she mastered.

Ruby looks like a toddler in this pic...I can't stand it!

This girl likes blowing raspberries too :)

Steve's been working hard on his clinical reasoning seminar he's presenting in a couple weeks.  Somehow I keep getting him on board with my plans as well.  We went swimming with some friends, the Vosses, for family night.  It was super fun.  We blew bubbles, splashed, jumped in (or step/fell in Ross's case) a bunch of times, and even got dunked.  Way fun.

Tonight we finally carved our pumpkins.  Ross was into for a little bit, but really just wanted to play with the tools.  Ruby just wanted to be in the middle of it all - aka in the bowl with the pumpkin guts, but instead followed Ross around.

I think they turned out pretty great!

"Dad put the stuff in here Daddy!"

Cheese!

Ross's turn!

This is pretty much how the kids spent the rest of the pumpkin carving time :)

And how we spent the rest of the time.

Ross wanted a green mad pumpkin - he looks pretty mad don't you think?

Our happy girl needed a happy pumpkin :)

The finished products!

Ross's green mad pumpkin.  Whenever we looks at books or pictures he always has to clarify whether they are mad or not - it's very important before we proceed.  Good thing to do.

Happy Hallow's Eve!
