9 Month Old Rowland

Well, Rowland definitely turned 9 months old.  It's starting to get daunting that he's getting closer to being one.  He decided that the army crawl was pretty cool, and does the wounded version - with the one arm doing all the work.  

He also learned to clap - which is WAY too adorable for his own good.

He's weighing in at 19lbs. 15oz.  - 30th percentile, and he's getting a little taller - 28 1/2 inches - 50th percentile.  

He is definitely the easiest laugher of all our kids - and they all loved to laugh.  Ross and Ruby just eat it up when they do something that makes him laugh.

Rowly has also become a professional Johnny Jump-up-er.  He gets the spring making the boingy sound with how high he jumps.  He just loves it!

He has also been enjoying spitting his food out at whoever is feeding him - little stinker.  I think he's getting a bottom tooth in soon - it seems swollen and he doesn't eat as well as he used to.

He LOVES to play with Ross's cars, trucks, trains  - and especially airplanes.  Ross has mixed feelings about it, because he adores Rowland and wants to play with him, but then also wants to keep his toys in tact.  You can see the turmoil in his face.

The "O" face has also made an appearance - and it's adorable.  He can stay standing if you prop him up - he feels pretty cool when you do it too.  Anything that makes him feel more like the other kids. ;)

We are thoroughly enjoying this boy and really would be okay if he would slow down with all his growing.  Love you Rowland Poland!
