September Fun :)

Well, we've been up to a few things here and there over the last couple weeks.  Let's see what we've got to show:

In a random conversation the other day I asked Ross if we had another baby what we should name it.  He said, "Jesus!" I asked why and he said, "Because He's the best!  I love Jesus!"  LOVE this boy. :)

Sporting some Britain pride. :)

Still trying to sit up...but he has an adorable smile!

Ready for church!

Ruby fell asleep after a no nap day...how does this happen??

And she actually looks comfortable! :)
This is usually how breakfast goes.  Rowland constantly looking over at the excitement at the breakfast table.

Steve went to one of his best friend's weddings over the weekend and got to see his fam too.  They held their own version of Ninja Warrior via the school playground.  They were all true competitors, but Thomas pulled it off in the end!

Having so much time on her hands, mom did some serious deep cleaning, and even had time to curl her hair for once!  AND managed to do church with three SMALL children alone (I just high fived myself), and decided for just about the millionth time, that we all THOROUGHLY need Daddy around here, and I'm not meant to be a single parent. Whew!

When Rowland sits on your lap, every so often he likes to crane his head backwards and see who's behind him. :)

Ruby was hunting bugs...in the duck boat...in a princess dress....wearing a cat in the hat hat.  Steve was extremely proud of this picture.  Haha.

Rowland doing some light reading before naptime.  We signed up for Imagination Library and get a book for each of our kids every month until they are 5 - FOR FREE.  AWESOME!

Reading about cats is on the agenda today...

Practicing princess manners.  Also this girl is GORGEOUS.  LOVE her :)

Ruby loves seeing herself in the camera :)

Snuggling a chubby bunny.  Love this boy :)

Just look at these turkey legs - mmmm mmmm.

Ruby wearing a dress our friend gave us that's currently four sizes too big.  Doesn't matter to this girl though!

We were assigned to clean the church this month and on our way out spotted a bunny enjoying some shade.  Daddy is always good at pointing stuff out like that. :)

We got to take a trip to the fire department to get a tour of their trucks.  Ross was ECSTATIC and kept running from one truck to the other to check out something on one and another thing on another.

Ruby wanted to push ALL the buttons, and Ross I'm pretty sure was contemplating how to convince them to let him drive them around the block.

We had a fabulous tour from our local fireman Derrick.  He was a real gem!

So we had some fun at the park...a little too much fun.  Something involving putting rocks in mouths and rubbing dirt all over everything.  You know it was a good day as a kid when you're covered in dirt by the end. :)

This girl is pretty satisfied - just look at that face!

Just about ready for a nap. :)

We get some freaky storms this way.  Yikes!

Steve took Ross to the first high school football game of the season.  It was quite the event including free popcorn!

Sometimes when Rowland feels like he's about done eating, he does this...(he's pretty good at neck craning these days)

We have another kid who prefers Mommy's water bottle...

Ruby

Ross
Our first move as home buyers was getting a water filter, and we must say - it was worth every penny.  Let the drinking water begin!

We went to the "Black Hole" as they call it for Labor Day in Two Buttes.  It was pretty fun including BBQ, raft floating, and cliff jumping (not by me of course!)

We also went to a 9/11 parade to remember those who lost their lives and revere them.  It was a fun and sweet parade.  Ross loved the candy.  He had trouble at first understanding it was okay to go out in to the street to get the candy (good boy) but got a little braver by the end. :)  We had a good chat about it only being okay during parades to run out and get candy.

And tell me - what is sweeter than a sleeping baby? :)

SERIOUSLY - look at that sweet face!!
